About This Activity
The full day option allows campers the opportunity to stay for our AM session and our PM specialty session. See below for camp themes. If staying a full day please be sure to send campers with lunch or sign up for our lunch delivery program – Lunch with Lou. Visit our website for lunch details and be sure to register if interested. 2021 Theme – “Traveling the World & Beyond” (9 am – 12 noon) Our theme for The Chapel School’s Care Bear Camp this year will be “Traveling the WORLD and BEYOND!” Young campers will explore our world and the Solar System … “sailing to exotic seaports", “flying” to far away countries and “blasting off” to outer space. Also helping to teach the students about our world will be visits to The Chapel School campus by Animal Embassy, Greenburgh Nature Center, Mad Science, The Maritime Aquarium, and The Nature of Things. Other In-House Field Trips include visits from magicians, storytellers, Mad Science, Dinosaurs Rock and MORE! Children will have the opportunity to enjoy plenty of summer outdoor fun with water play and games on our secure school playground. Lunch / Recess (12 noon – 1 pm) PM Specialty (1 – 4 pm) Care Bear Takes on Broadway Our young stars will learn and perform short scenes and songs and dances from: ANNIE, FROZEN, The Sound of Music, The Little Mermaid, and more! Team work, solo work, dance, voice, speech, acting will be encouraged in this short time! No experience is necessary. The JOY of theater and fun of performance will be the most important part of this class!!!
