About This Activity
10 wks Each week, this class will introduce students to foundational art skills through creative drawing projects. Students will alternately explore topics like color and color schemes, shading objects, and negative space, and use those skills to make their own creative masterpieces. Using a variety of drawing media from marker and colored pencil to pastels and inking with dip pens, and exploring classic drawing genres like still life, portraiture, mapmaking, abstraction, and more, students will get a broad introduction to some of the many possibilities that drawing provides.
