About This Activity

For centuries, falconers have used simple leather straps (called jesses) on the legs of trained raptors. Learn how to make a jess and turn it into a fashionable bracelet for yourself! You’ll also get a chance to see the other equipment we make for our education raptors. This leatherwork uses sharp cutting tools. Ages 12 and up. 12:30-1:30 p.m. Pre-registration preferred, drop-ins are also welcome. $5 per bracelet.
