A class designed for all dogs 4 months or older. All basic obedience will be taught, such as "heeling" (walking on the leash without pulling or tugging), automatic sits when handler comes to a stop, teaching your dog to "come" on command, "sit" and "down", stays up to leash length away with distractions and "sit" while being greeted. This training program requires constant and continual reinforcement by the owner. Take this class to address behavioral challenges such as, jumping, digging, barking, chewing and more! The first class meeting will be held without dogs. Bring a chair, clipboard and pen to the first meeting. All classes will be held at the Alexander Hughes Center Basketball Courts.
