The American Red Cross Lifeguard program teaches the skills and knowledge required to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid are included. Minimum enrollment is 6.
$215.00This 32 hour course has pre-requisites:
- Participant must be at least 15 years of age.
- Swim 300 yards continuously in a designated order.
- Tread water for two minutes with using your hands.
- Swim 20 yards, dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10 pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back within 1 minute 40 seconds.
This is a Blended-Learning Formatted class. There is approximately 7-8 hours of work that must be completed before the first class day.
Participants must pass a swimming test on the first class day!
