This weekly offering is designed to complement the current Corvallis School District plan for online and hybrid learning. Scheduled to be available for cohorts A, B and C. This offering may be expanded beyond this date depending on district plans and demand. NOTE: NO Class the week of May 17-21. This program is part of a weekly activity series that provides a different theme activity each day of the week. We will keep groups stable through the 7 weeks, run camp 100% outside and follow state guidelines for Covid 19. We will use a location TBD each week as we do various adventure taking us to various spots in Benton County. We will notify participants of location. Parents will drop off and pick up each week. Each week the tribe will work on existing and new projects or explore new areas. Projects may include shelters and term shelters, building fires on the river to cook marshmellows or hot dogs, survival scenarios, tree climbing, archery, building primitive weapons and tools, rock skipping and hiking excursions on trails near Corvallis, foraging for mushrooms or edibles. Each week the tribe will talk with the instructor about new adventures and projects to start. Please come dressed appropriately with water and snacks.
