6 weeks - 12 classes
White, Yellow, & Orange Belt Class
This class is appropriate for students ages 6-12 with little to no previous Karate experience and for those students that have earned their Yellow or Orange belt. New students will earn their white belt at the end of their second class.
The Little Tigers will not only develop a solid foundation of karate basics, but also learn and practice self-control, self-discipline, and respect. They will gain a longer attention span and have fun!
Benefits of Shotokan Karate include not just physical development such as increased strength, better balance, agility, flexibility, and coordination. But also positive character development including healthy habits, a sense of justice, improved self-esteem, and confidence.
These tools prepare the young student to resist negative peer pressure, bullying, and to open up to opportunities to excel in whatever they choose to do in life.
Dress:
New Students: wear comfortable clothes that you can move in (t-shirt & sweatpants - no denim). A Karate Gi (karate uniform) is recommended after the 2nd class when you receive your White belt but not required.
