About This Activity
The Summer Math Institute provides students exposure to a variety of math concepts based on an overarching theme. Students will be exposed to as many topics each week as is achievable in a fun and interactive experience. Students will be organized according to ability, which will allow students to progress at an appropriate pace. In this particular week, centered around Probability, students will work on concepts such as negative numbers, basic probability, independent events, dependent events, and counting methods. Participation in multiple weeks is encouraged.
