Welcome to Chess Tutors!
Virtual Beginner Chess Class Virtual After School Pro Each session includes four 1.25 hour lessons (once per week) over a period of 4 weeks, plus our Weekly Battle Arena on Sundays (from 2:30-3:30 PM). Our engaging Virtual Beginner, Intermediate, and Advance Chess Tutors classes will provide a unique opportunity for students to learn, compete and receive (live) lessons and assessments on a weekly basis alongside students of their own age, grade, and or skill level. Following a brief automated evaluation during the first day of class, students will be broken up into groups according to skill level. We are excited to introduce our unique customized approach to making each class fun, competitive, and progressive. We will aim to limit class sizes to 20 or less and, in some cases, less than 10. Students are not restricted to attending on the day and time that they are registered for. Rather, students have the option of joining other classes on different days and time slots up to the number of hours they are registered for. Chess Tutors is designed to ignite the fun in learning. Our aim mission involves using chess to teach students the value of making sound decisions. We are more concerned with developing life masters than chess masters. We use songs, stories and motivational material to invoke emotion and make the learning process enjoyable. Our chess course enhances critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities in an exciting way.
