Mt. Hood Overnight Race Day Camp Session 4 *1% of profits in 2022 will go to Coombs Outdoors. Coombs Outdoors empowers local youth to grow and thrive by reducing barriers to outdoor recreation through programs, mentorship, and community building. Overnight Session 4 Dates & Info: *Campers must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 to lodge with Keely's Camp. We have day camper options otherwise. Ages: Born in 2010 & Older Arrival: July 1st (see arrival windows for driving and flying on our website) July 2nd is the first day on snow. July 7th final day on snow and departure day (please see driving and flying windows on our website). Tentative Overnight Camp Schedule 6:45am-12:30pm: Training on Mt. Hood in designated ski groups 2:30pm-4:30pm: Afternoon dryland/afternoon activity 5pm-6pm: Ski tuning and video 6pm: Team dinner 6:45-7:30pm Team meeting 8:30pm In rooms 9: 00pm Lights out Tentative Weekly Schedule Day 1: Orientation, put into ski groups, drills and skills on slalom skis *Athletes will be designated a coach and a group on day one and will remain with their group the entire session. Day 2: Slalom gate training Day 3: Slalom gate training Day 4: Slalom or GS gate training Day 5: GS gate training Day 6: GS gate training *Afternoon activities will be days 1-5 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm **Included is one afternoon activity in Hood River or on the Deschutes River. ***Video analysis will be in ski groups on hill or after lunch days 2-5. We will not have video on days 1 and 6.
