Description
AFTER the BELL is a safe environment for your child to be with friends and great way to excel this school year while having fun. During the program children will be able to get their homework done but also have a fun place to come after a long day of school. A light afternoon snack will be provided. This program will be held at your child's school and Community House staff will wait in a designated area to pick up the children. You can customize your experience by signing up for one day, week, month, etc! AFTER the BELL follows School District 181 calendar and typically runs Monday-Friday from 3:05pm-6:00pm. Ages: Full day or afternoon Kindergarten thru 5th grade. A typical week at After the Bell includes: Homework assistance, enrichment activities, park/active time, fun-filled Fridays and so much more! Daily Schedule: 3:05-3:15PM On site Check in 3:15-3:30PM Snack Time 3:30-4:10PM Active Time 4:10-4:50PM Homework Help/SQUIRT (Super Quiet Uninterrupted Reading Time) 4:50-5:30PM Teacher-led Activities/Enrichment Program 5:30-6:00PM Interactive Free Play Enrichment Activities *S.T.E.A.M. - Your child will continue to learn through fun science and art projects! *Nature - We will take nature walks, gather leaves and learn how to imprint, and more! *Sports - We will play kickball, home run derby, running bases, and all their favorites! Location: Oak Elementary School *This program is only for students that attend Oak The Community House operates in accordance with the most current IDPH and D181 guidelines. SIBLING DISCOUNT AVAILABLE - Must be done on same receipt for discount to apply. *PLEASE NOTE -Registration is required to participate in the program -A $5 late fee will be added to registration done after noon the day of care -Late fees will not be waived and are non-refundable -If you need to register after the deadline, it is required that it is done in person at The Community House. -CANCELLATION MUST BE DONE WITH AT LEAST 48 BUSINESS HOURS NOTICE TO RECEIVE A CREDIT. Refunds will not be given.
