Description

Tennis Lessons with Coach Shawna Zsinko:
Zsinko has spent the past three seasons as Hinsdale Central High School’s head girls tennis coach. She led the Red Devils to a third-place finish in the state in her debut season in 2017 before winning a team state championship in 2018. She also served as York High School’s Boys tennis coach in the Spring of 2017. Zsinko began her high school coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach for Hinsdale Central’s girls’ and boys’ tennis teams from 2011-15. The two teams won a combined seven state championships in that span. Zsinko served as the girls assistant coach in 2016 and the Red Devils won the fourth straight state championship.

A nationally ranked platform tennis player, Zsinko additionally works as the head platform tennis professional for Butterfield Country Club, while also running Family Chiropractic & Integrative Health. She’s previously worked as a tennis and platform tennis professional at multiple clubs in Illinois and Indiana, including Oak Brook Racquet Club, Glen Ellyn Park District and the Edgewood Valley Country Club. As a player, Zsinko helped Hinsdale Central High School capture two team state championships while also individually placing fourth and seventh (twice) in the state. A scholarship tennis player at Purdue, Zsinko closed her career ranked in Purdue’s top-10 in singles victories while leading the team in singles wins for two seasons.
