For 7 consecutive Sundays Cooper Spur's Spring Freeride Camp will ride Timberline. This camp is all about slush-inspired progression. Once new snowfall begins to dwindle and the season's worth of accumulated snowfall is free to be shaped and sculpted is when terrain parks really come alive. Timberline is nationally known for their spring parks in which they have a full variety of progression based features to learn on, such as the fast and flowy Conway's park, the flow-park, a full size halfpipe, and jumps of all shapes and sizes. It is the ultimate playground for progression-inspired skiing. The freeride spring camp is an intermediate / expert level team. Athlete's must be comfortable with terrain park etiquette and have a working knowledge of both rails and jumps. Practice's will be held from 9:00am until 3:00pm at Timberline Lodge. There will be transportation available from Hood River to Timberline each practice. Transport is included in the registration fee. The shuttle will leave China Gorge at 7am and return around 4:30pm. Practice will consist of riding jumps, riding rails, and learning how to flow through a park and trying features together to create a line. Each rider must have their own Timberline Season pass, which can be purchased for $139 through Timberline's website.
