In this workshop we dive deep into the anatomy of drills and drivers, explaining the fundamental differences between them, and when you might choose one over the other. We’ll talk about how to install and remove bits in your tools, and what types of bits work with each one. Body mechanics are an important part of using a drill or driver effectively, and they are different when you are drilling a hole from when you are driving a screw. Learn how to tune your fine and gross motor skills to perform each function with ease. This class offers ample time to practice drilling holes with a variety of bits, as well as driving lots and lots of screws. Students will go home with the knowledge and muscle memory to effectively use drills and drivers on their next project. Students under 18 may attend with parental permission.
