This is a Blended Learning course. Upon completion of registration, the student will receive a link that will allow them to complete the classroom portion of the course virtually. The dates listed are only for the in-water skills sessions.The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.
