About This Activity
Description
Aikido is a Japanese Martial art development by Morihei Ueshiba. This is an art, not only of physical system, but of constant movement which involves some throws and joint locks that are derived from jiujutsu and other techniques from kenjitsu. Aikido focuses not on punching or kicking opponents but rather on using their own energy to gain control of them or to throw them away from you. Owned and Operated by Sensei Samantha Tova, Peaceful Warrior Aikido is a family-friendly Dojo that welcomes all students ages 5 and up. Classes are held at the Pacheco park recreation hall located at 903 Pacheco Blvd (next to Loftin Football Stadium). For more information, please contact Sensei Tova at (209) 270-1037.
