Boys and girls will be able to take advantage of a variety of experiences in football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, soccer golf, and organized games. Participants will move from venue to venue while staff guides them through practice, play, rules, and strategies. Regarding face masks: (updated 6/13/21) Currently, Edgewood High School policy is that anyone indoors who is not vaccinated should wear a mask. (General day-to-day protocol). Outdoors we do not require them at all. The CDC highly recommends masks in general but does not mandate them for camps. Within our camp setting, we plan to have everyone wear a mask (possibly bring an extra as they might get sweaty!) indoors unless vaccinated. During outdoor activities, campers do not have to wear them unless they have been instructed to do so by their parent/ guardian. In saying the above, we are NOT going to be policing masks necessarily in terms of how they are worn. If you have instructed your child to wear a mask at all times (outdoors included) then make sure that is communicated to your child. If your child has a condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, please have a doctor's note stating such. Snack Time: We will have a snack time of about 15-20 minutes. The campers will (as much as possible) be spaced out during this time. Students may opt-out of snack time; instead, using it as recess time down in the gym.
