If Video Game Design and Movie Making excite your children, then this is the ideal camp for them! Make Movies, design games and create awesome digital works of art using Scratch from MIT as well as Stop Motion Movie Software. In the Super Digital Media Lab, campers will be introduced to both Scratch Animation and Movie Making during this week of digital creative fun! The focus is on creativity and each child will make either videos or movies or both during the week. The amount of time each child spends on an individual project is determined by his/her own ideas and interests. Students are introduced to programming by creating short computer animated movies with a focus on fun. Campers will create animated stories using the Scratch animated programming tool which allows them to program interactions between characters. They will use a gallery of 3D characters, scenery and custom animations that are designed to help develop their story. The students will learn basic programming skills and have the opportunity broaden their imagination. Want to create your own Movie using your ideas? Add Movie Making to the fun during the week and complete a Stop Motion Movie that you design, direct and produce. The very best of digital creative expression is all available to your children in this week of digital fun and learning!
