Since 1993, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has partnered with the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Twins Community Fund to bring youth baseball and softball to children who would otherwise not have the opportunity or funds to enjoy America's past-time. The support from the Twins Community Fund provides uniforms, gloves and equipment as well as funding for baseball and softball field renovations. Each season, the Minnesota Twins RBI program involves more than 2,500 boys and girls.Upon registration for this program, participants agree to follow MPRB requirements related to face coverings and physical distancing. Face coverings are required indoors at all MPRB facilities, unless otherwise specified by MPRB as part of athletics protocol. Some youth programs, including childcare and preschool require participants to maintain physical distance.
Gloves provided free of charge by MN. Twins Community Fund, once registrations is complete. Games are played on Saturdays at various parks in South Minneapolis. We are looking for volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching please contact the park at email@example.com.
