About This Activity
This is a B1 German as a foreign language course for children in Grades 4-9 German language competency required enrolling in Older Beginner Accelerated 3 - Fall Semester: Understanding: The student should be able to understand conversations; articles related to topics like public places, solar eclipses and the weather in general. He/she would also have gained vocabulary in the field of careers and jobs, which should make it possible for the student to follow discussions in the work field. Speaking: The student should be able to speak with the right pronunciation. At B1 language level, the student should have gained enough vocabulary so the students have a good foundation to express themselves in any daily situation without long hesitation. Reading: The student should be able to read short instruction for articles like they are given in the course material. Writing: The student should be able to answer question like multiple choice and filling in the gaps. In this stage language proficiency, writing is used to ensure good reading comprehension. Grammar: The student should be able to apply personal pronoun in dative, conjugation trotzdem, preposition seit + dative. He/she should be able to ask indirect questions as well as to ask question with welch/e/s/r. He/she should be able to apply the conjugation of haben and apply other prepositions like sich interessieren für, wissen über, sprechen über.
