More advanced students will be challenged to develop and hone their improv skills. They will learn to make strong choices in improvised scenes, creating interesting and hilarious performances. Clear and specific character choices will be emphasized, and students will learn to communicate those choices through strong physicality and vocal inflection. Students will also try their hand at writing their own sketch comedy scenes and performing them. On the final day of class, students will perform a collection of improvised scenes and comedy sketches for family and friends. (Ages 12 - 18) There is no class on January 21st There is no class on February 18th ***PYT's CLASS CANCELLATION/TRANSFER POLICY: A refund less cancellation fee will be given if written notice is received at least one week prior to the beginning of class. The cancellation fee is $10 for all classes under $50, $25 for all classes under $150, and $50 for all classes over $150. We cannot provide a refund for cancellations made less than one week prior to the start of your class. Transfer requests are subject to availability and will be charged a $25 transfer fee. Any transfers requested after the start of class are subject to availability and will be charged a $50 transfer fee. No transfers are available after the first week of classes.
