Students will learn how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults and children, including how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). It does not include CPR/AED fro infants. This course is good for individuals needing credentialed training for job regulatory requirements or for those who just want to learn how to save a life. This course is accredited by the Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) and satisfies OSHA, WISHA, L&I, and other requirements for non-health care providers. Students who complete this course will receive a certificate that is valid for two years. This course does not include first aid.
