Description
Join us as we dive into the basics of ballet movement. Great for beginners and those who want to cross training from various dance backgrounds. We will learn basic dance positions and foot technique in classical ballet while building on muscle strength, endurance, fluidity, and artistry within the movements This will be a traditional ballet structured class starting with Barre exercises then continuing into center work with various leaps, combinations and coordination exercisesClass Notes or Announcements:• Attire: Athletic fitted clothing, leos, leggings, tights• No bright or baggy clothing. No jeans. No major graphics/logos. Keep attire simple & appropriate • Black or Pink Ballet shoes a must! No socks allowed • Hair must be pulled back, clean and if long enough in a bun, braid or ponytail • Please note that credit may be granted to students who need to miss classes for sickness, injuries or emergency’s at the teacher’s discretion.
