About This Activity
Description
This percussion class was designed for students to experience live music through drumming. The students will drum on bongos, djembe, conga, cow bells, shake rays, and talking drums, which will help them with coordination, rhythms, and polyrhythms. They will explore west African, Middle Eastern, Afro-Cuban, Haitian, and Brazilian music and culture through percussion.
