Full time U19 Freeriders will have a more holistic and focused approach to improving their skiing throughout the year with more focus on off-season prep, dryland training and culture building with their teammates through summer and fall programming. U19 Freeriders are dedicated to the sport of freeride, continuing their progressions with focused and dedicated training in the steepest and most exposed portions of the resort. Although competition is not required, participation in regional and national events is highly encouraged with the end result being trips to North American Championships, World Championships and the path to the Freeride World Tour as an adult competitor. Our on-hill daily focus will help polish and refine the movements built as U15 athletes, with increased attention to precision technique and advanced tactical development. Full time freeriders will be expected to attend and excel in 4 dryland training sessions per week in the off-season, as well as maintaining their fitness in-season through 2 sessions weekly. Attendance expectations for full time athletes during the ski season includes the above maintenance training as well as 6 days per week on snow training with their teammates. On snow programming begins December 11, 2021. Full time athletes are included in all Spring, Summer and Fall camps, including Strength and Conditioning programming. Winter weekly training schedule is Tuesday - Thursday, 9:00am - 12:00pm. Friday, 9:00am - 2:30pm. Saturday/Sunday, 9:00am - 3:15pm Resort season pass is included in the cost of the program.
