Move steel like Thor (not the trademarked one) with a mighty hammer. Fun for ages 12+ Learn the art of traditional blacksmithing! One of our most popular classes! Start with the basics, a hammer, fire, and some metal. Learn to bend it to your will to make hooks, hangers, bottle openers, towel racks... whatever you can imagine. Come one Friday for the basic skills and safety... then, if you'd like, keep coming back to refine your skills to make more beautiful and more functional works of art. It's exciting, it's dangerous, it's an awesome night with friends, family, or that special someone (it does sometimes get pretty hot in the blacksmithing shop). We provide all the tools, materials, and safety gear. Bring a water bottle, lunch, a snack, and don't wear synthetic clothing... seriously... cotton, wool, and leather are all great and won't melt to your skin or catch on fire while you're smithing.
