The YMCA of the Suncoast Flag Football league is a recreational youth sports program designed to instill values of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
The U6 year old league will focus on team development, building friendships, learning the basic fundamentals of flag football and most importantly - HAVE FUN!
What do I need:
Participants must have a good pair of tennis shoes or cleats (no metal cleats), athletic shorts with no pockets, water, sunscreen, and a mouth guard. The YMCA will provide a team shirt and mouth guard for every player.
U6 Season Dates and Times:
- February 7th - April 16th
- Wednesdays evenings from 5:00-6:00pm

Age U6 Location:
Palm Harbor YMCA, 1600 16th St, Palm Harbor, FL 34683
Safety Procedures:
- Health survey questionnaire before each session
- Hand sanitizer will be provided to all participants and coaches before and after each session
- Proper social distancing techniques - 6 feet apart at all times
- Equipment will be sanitized before and after each session
- Limit of 20 people per session
Volunteer Opportunities:
YMCA sports are based upon seven guiding principles: everyone plays, safety first, fair play, positive competition, sports for all, sports for fun, and family involvement. Our leagues are supported by parent volunteers who are engaged as coaches, referees, and raving fans.
