Club SciKidz

Club SciKidz offers 25 different camps in multiple locations. Camps fall into several categories: Extreme Science, Film Making & Effects, Robotics and Engineering, Video Game Design and Programming and Apps. Each camp consists of experiments and hands-on projects to keep your child engaged. Kids can learn to use SCRATCH, solder a robot or study emergency medicine, among other camp offerings. All camp directors are certified teachers, and program assistants are current college students with additional training from the camp.
Camp Broadway

Camp Broadway offers musical theater camps for kids nationwide, including Atlanta, where kids ages 10 to 17 can participate in Camp Broadway Mainstage. This camp includes five days of instruction in singing, dancing and acting by Broadway professionals, plus master classes with Broadway artists, question and answer sessions with professionals and the Family Finale musical presentation. Campers will also receive a backstage seminar with the production crew for a complete, well-rounded experience.

With multiple locations throughout the Atlanta area, Art a la Cart Kids and Terrific Scientific focus on STEAM and fine arts topics for kids, using age-appropriate experiences to bring abstract concepts to life. Fine arts camps focus on specific techniques and include the supplies needed for projects. Science and Technology campers perform experiments, work in teams and learn how science addresses real-world problems. Interested in both art and science? Combo camps meld the two topics, using things like mixed media visuals and applied science. Camp themes includes Claymation, Robotics, Space Invasion and Anime, among other topics.
Brainy Bytes

Camps at Brainy Bytes combine STEM and creative arts, using technology and innovative lesson plans. During camp sessions, instructors encourage kids to use critical thinking, learn new skills and have fun. Camps are divided by age, and girls-only camps are offered in some subjects. Jitterbug Performing Arts

Come learn about acting, dancing and singing at the Bug Shack! Camps at this functioning recording studio focus on developing creativity. For younger campers, that could be imagination activities or costume design. For advanced campers, look for songwriting camps, beat boxingor camps that help kids build their own instruments. All campers have the opportunity to show what they have learned during performances each Friday. Campers can also learn about creating props and scenery, music production and more. All teachers have a degree in a related field and are working professionals.
National Soccer Trainers

National Soccer Trainers offers more than just soccer camp—they actually run a variety of sports camps for kids. Soccer Camp focuses on soccer skills, drills, game rules and scrimmages.
Looking for a traditional summer camp? During Summer Day Camp at Harmony on the Lakes, campers play games, swim, do crafts, hike and have a mystery special event each day. Harmony on the Lakes Camp is on 630 acres in Cherokee County, with trails, waterfalls, lakes and a pool available to campers.
Social Skills Today

Social Skills Today is a program that teaches social skills to kids and young adults with Autism, Asperger's and other sensory or behavioral needs. A variety of summer day camps offer programs that work to combine social and emotional learning with a traditional camp environment. Each day camp has a theme, which changes weekly and aims to provide a summer community for kids.
At Camp Journey, a weekend or weeklong residential camp, kids have daily social skills lessons, and then practice those skills during camp activities such as swimming, fishing, hiking, canoeing, sports and archery. Camps are designed for campers with different functional levels.
Easy Going Sewing

Easy Going Sewing teaches kids to sew with high-interest projects. During each camp, students choose from a variety of beginner projects, which allows them to zero in on and follow their own interests. Challenging patterns and options are available for kids with appropriate skills. Easy Going Sewing also does the legwork for parents by providing high-quality fabrics and materials. Instructors teach campers how to use a sewing machine, an iron and various sewing tools. The ratio of student to instructor is 4:1, so each camper has plenty of hands-on help if needed.
Kaleidoscope Studios, LLC

Kaleidoscope Studios is a working studio and creative art space. They offer a variety of summer camps, each led by a working artist. Instructors teach kids critical thinking, curiosity and problem-solving, all while making art and creative works. Camps include topics like mixed media, papermaking, edible art and fashion. Age requirements vary by camp.
Kirby Smart Football Camp

Kirby Smart Football Camp, offered though the University of Georgia Athletics Department, has camps for players of all levels, as well as camps that focus on specialty or position. Kirby Smart camps are non-contact camps designed to simulate Georgia Bulldogs practices. Coaches provide instruction and teach skills and fundamentals, as well as position-specific techniques. Camps available include youth camp, high school team camps, 7 on 7 team camps, specialist camp (for punters, place kickers and long snappers) and lineman camp.
