Join us for a fun-filled day learning about butterflies, on Friday, April 26th at TPS. Students will learn about the life cycle of the butterfly in many different forms and enjoy a scavenger hunt in a room filled with brightly colored butterflies. They will create several exciting projects to take home such as an embossed metal butterfly, a mask or antennae to wear, and decorate cloth wings (PK/K) or build butterfly feeders (1-5th grade.) A mid morning snack will be served and indoor and outdoor choice activities will be provided. A mid-morning snack, indoor and outdoor play, a late-afternoon snack, and choice activities will be provided. This program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with drop-off available in the yard beginning at 8:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your child’s lunch. ***Extended day is available from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. for an additional $25. A late-afternoon snack and choice activities will be provided. The program is limited to 40 students, on a first-come, first-served basis. WE CANNOT ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS after Friday, November 16th. Pick-up time is 3:00 p.m. for the regular program and 5:30 p.m. for the extended day. Students who are not picked-up at 3:00 p.m. will be automatically registered for extended day ($25 per child). Any students who are picked-up after 5:30 p.m. will be charged $20 per child for the first fifteen minutes, and then $30 for each fifteen minutes after 5:45 p.m.
