Are you interested in being a volunteer coach for the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. What better way to give back to the community by volunteer coaching and teaching the youth about the sports they love. We are looking for volunteer coaches for youth sports. Coaches will need to complete a concussion test, pass a background check, get fingerprinted and complete a FREE online training course for there preferred sports. We provide the field or gym space and manage the logistics of the sports programs. Volunteer coaches are provided with a shirt, clipboard and other items depending on the sport, for example our Jr Suns basketball coaches get a Jr Suns swag item and a game voucher. The city of Phoenix is always looking for volunteer coaches and can provide training to those that are just getting started.
