About This Activity

Description

This activity is closed to further registration.

Have fun making your own ear of corn with beads and learn about one of the many crops grown by the ancestral Sonoran Desert people (the Hohokam). This craft kit includes materials for the craft, step-by step instructions, and information about the corn and other plants grown by the ancestral Sonoran Desert people (the Hohokam).

Cost: $2 per student/craft

Each Craft Kit order includes the materials for the craft and a set of PowerPoint step-by-step instructions. There is no in-person instruction for this activity.

Kits to be picked up at Pueblo Grande Museum located at 4619 E. Washington Street Phoenix, AZ 85034. Call 602-495-0901 for appointment.



All crafts activities must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks prior to the proposed date of the program allowing museum staff time to prepare the supplies and virtual links requested.


An appointment must be made to arrange for pickup of the craft materials
