About This Activity
Is your child a passionate animal lover but not quite old enough to volunteer? Reading Fur Fun is a special reading program that gives children the opportunity to improve their reading skills while enriching the lives of shelter pets awaiting adoption! Programs are facilitated by an AHS Instructor who will guide participants through our shelter as you make stops at our dog kennels, cat condos, and small animal spaces to read to pets waiting to find their forever homes. Location: Rob & Melani Walton Papago Park Campus (5501 East Van Buren Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008) Registration: $15.00 for 1 child (ages 5-12) and 1 adult * Cancelled registrations will be converted to a tax-deductible donation
