The City of Phoenix Mayor/Council approved the use of The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for programs and services in our community to support an immediate pandemic response and lay the groundwork for a strong and equitable recovery. To support this endeavor the Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to provide one-time financial assistance for our winter Youth Sports Leagues and Programs.
This is an instructional program for youth 5-8 years old that focuses on the fundamentals of soccer. Our philosophy is to introduce children to the soccer basics, encourage sportsmanship and promote equal participation in a non competitive environment.
Practices begin the week of January 11, 2022 and games will start on January 15, 2022. Games will be played on Saturday mornings for 1 hour from 10:00 am-11:00 am.
Volunteer Coaches Needed - Parents Involvement is Encouraged!
