Building Confidence Through Problem Solving is a math enrichment program designed for girls to build confidence and interest in mathematics, including in the competitive math space. Through engaging explorations, students will develop problem-solving skills, explore challenging puzzles, and learn to approach math with curiosity and resilience. Each session encourages students to think critically, collaborate with peers, and explore multiple strategies rather than focusing on speed or memorization. The program also incorporates reflection and discussion to help participants build a positive mindset toward math and become more comfortable with tackling difficult problems. All are welcome, but girls are especially encouraged!
This class is taught by a rising junior at WWP South with formal tutoring and competition math experience (including MATHCOUNTS, Yale Girls in Math, Integirls, the AMC series, and more!), who is passionate about making math more approachable and helping younger students build confidence in their abilities.

Please note: All paid programs and activities are subject to a $2.75 fee when registering in-person and is non-refundable. We only accept cash or check for in-person registrations.
