SPACE LIMITED to 6-10 TOTAL ACTORS. A new & shocking version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale of depravity, lust, love & horror. On the streets of Victorian-era London, Jekyll’s experiments have brought forth his other self—Hyde, a villain free to commit the sins Jekyll is too civilized to comprehend. When Hyde meets a woman who stirs his interest, Jekyll fears for her life & decides to end his experiments, but Hyde has other ideas. So the two sides battle each other in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse to determine who shall be the master & who his slave. With multiple Hydes (both male & female) portrayed by members of the cast. BY AUDITION ONLY. Material: You must sign up for an audition on the Sign Up Genius on our website & linked on our social media. Auditions will consist of cold reads only. Full Audition Packets will be emailed before auditions. After casting is posted, you will be able to register online. Dates: In-person auditions at Genesis on Jan 22nd, 1-3PM. REHEARSALS Read Throughs: Tues/Thurs, Feb 15th & 17th, 5:30-9:30pm Extra Rehearsal: Tues, Feb 22nd, 5:30-9:30pm Rehearsals will be each Thurs, 5:30-9:30pm, Mar 3rd-31st Extra Sun Rehearsals: March 20th & 27th, 1:30-5:30pm **Spring Break rehearsals TBD by student schedules** All conflicts must be submitted on your audition form. MANDATORY Tech Week: Mon-Thurs, April 4-7th, 5:30-9:30pm All students required to attend each day. SET BUILD Sat, April 2nd 10am-3pm All students & one parent per actor required to attend. PERFORMANCES FRI: April 8th @ 7pm SAT: April 9th @ 7pm SUN: April 10th @ 3pm FRI: April 15th @ 7pm SAT: April 16th @ 2pm & 7pm (Love Notes after matinee; Strike after final show) ADDITIONAL INFO Costumes provided. Supplemental items & shoes from your wardrobe. Students required to be present at all rehearsals/shows. Each student will get a SHOW SHIRT. Additional shirts may be purchased for $15 at registration. Original CAST POSTERS ($20) will be available for purchase.
