About This Activity
US Sailing certified instructors lead this Beginner Sailing Camp for ages 8 to 15. Campers will learn sailing and seamanship is a safe, fun and structured environment using USSA developed instructional materials and curriculum. Registration fee includes the USSA beginning sailing "Learn Sailing Right" book. A "Youth Membership" in US Sailing is included. This membership comes with the "Skill-Up" smartphone App that allows the sailor to track progress and view skill videos. Instructors will use modules from the US Sailing STEM Manual for some afternoons when weather prevents sailing. The goal is to develop skilled and confident young people who will be a lifelong credit to their communities.
