Play in consort with the likes of cornettos, dulcians, sackbuts, recorders & windcapped instruments to explore the early music repertoire. Gain new insights into style & history while getting to know other enthusiasts.
Prerequisite: Recorder Level 3 or the equivalent - generally - advanced ability on both C and F instruments and sight-reading at a high level (reading independent notes and complex rhythms without assistance). Permission of instructor required.
Daily individual practice between classes is an important part of successful music instruction.
This is a school year length course that begins in late September/early October and continues through early June. Students are automatically rolled over into winter & spring term, with tuition due the first day of the new term. Winter begins week of 1/9/17, Spring begins week of 4/3/17.

There will be class the week of Thanksgiving, on November 23rd.
There will be a recital on the last day of each term (Fall: 11/30/16; Winter: 3/15/17; Spring: 6/7/17).
Last day of class for Fall term is November 30th. Fee has been prorated for 9 meetings.
