Take advantage of the summer to build your Rugby skills. Whether you are a brand new player who needs to learn the basics and build a foundation or an intermediate level rugger wanting to develop your game, we will solidify the fundamentals and strengthen techniques in all phases of Rugby. Learn skills from positioning and contact to kicking and ball handling. A special focus will be paid to teaching the correct and safe, US Rugby approved way to make and take a tackle, ruck, and scrum. Mixed contact and “touch” games are designed to teach the sport through play, with teams matched by age, size and skill. The camp will be coached by US Rugby trained Varsity Heights Rugby Coaches Shane O’Neill and Titus Willard with Heights Varsity ruggers assisting.
