BBLC Coaches will be offering supplemental position specific training throughout the winter for those players that are seeking more instruction on top of their winter practice schedule. Each hour long session will be high repetition, high intensity position specific instruction that pushes players out of their comfort zones and gives them an opportunity to further develop their offensive or defensive skill set. Each session will have a cap of players at each position to allow for effective coach to player ratio. Offensive sessions will help players improve their skills including: shooting (on the run, inside, and long range), dodging mechanics to beat their defenders, feeding to gain more assists, and off ball play. Defensive sessions will help players improve their skills including: footwork, agility, take away checks and holds, stick handling, and sliding/recovering. Goaltender sessions will help players improve their skills including: footwork, agility, hand/eye coordination, body positioning, playing correct angles to stop shots, and the clearing game.
