In this class we will read stories about nature and the living creatures in our ecosystem. We will keep nature journals and go outside to look for the bugs and critters living or visiting this location. Students are also encouraged to nature journal about their own backyard. We will learn how to identify animal tracks, use binoculars, collect specimens, and how to use field guides and mapping skills. Please have your children dress accordingly for the weather. We go outside every class to explore.
