Description
Our volleyball program for our kids is more than just a recreational league – it’s a chance for kids to flourish in a secure and structured environment. We strive to instill teamwork, sportsmanship, fairness, and equality in all players while encouraging self-expression and personal growth.
To ensure that each team is evenly matched, we randomly assign players based on skill levels. We cannot accept special requests, but families with siblings in the same age group can note this information during registration for both children. When registering, please provide a birth certificate, which can be scanned and emailed to Recreation@rialtoca.gov.
The season runs from January 10, 2025, to March 7, 2024, with all games taking place on Friday evenings at the Carl Johnson Center Gym, located at 214 N. Palm Ave Rialto, CA. Regular season games are scheduled between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
The Division 1 parent meeting will be held on December 9, 2024, at 7:00 pm at the Carl Johnson Center Gym located at 214 N. Palm Ave. Rialto, CA 92376. Division 1 Skills Assessment is on Friday, December 13 at 6:00pm.
Practices typically occur twice a week in the evenings between 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, starting the week of January 6, 2025, at the Carl Johnson Center Gym, local parks, or middle schools.
Refund requests must be submitted before January 10, 2025, at 6:00 pm, either by email or in person at the Community Center front desk. Players placed on the waitlist will be contacted if any registered players withdraw from the program.
The registration fee includes a volleyball jersey and participation, with jerseys distributed on the first game day. Spandex/Shorts are not provided, but knee pads are recommended. Players are required to wear their assigned jersey for every game, and replacements cost $30.
We recommend acquiring a ball for your child's practice sessions and home use. Kindly write your child's name on their ball if they bring it to practice. It is highly encouraged that you engage in home practice sessions with your child to facilitate skill development. Please be aware that personal balls will not be allowed inside the gym on game days.
