St. Michael's is partnering with Adventure Walkers for this 10-week class! Stay after school and enjoy the outdoor, wild parts of the St. Michael’s campus in late Fall to Mid-Winter! Explore, build, imagine, create, take healthy risks, eat (maybe cook), be social, and play! We will immerse ourselves in nature (think wet, muddy, maybe a few scratches) and listen to some epic stories. For those willing to try, you can tell a few! Bring Yourself, Leave Together. Since 2014, Adventure Walkers has been taking kids into the wild all over the Richmond area. Jim McCullough, founder and leader of our expeditions, is an experienced early childhood educator who loves to get “into the sunshine” (it’s always there). Adventure Walkers is a fun way for your children to be social, to explore our natural world and to play! And we love storytelling. Open to boys and girls of all ages. Note: We are a rain or shine on-campus after-school program. We believe that there is no bad weather, just bad clothing choices. However, during particularly inclement weather, we will lead a variety of indoor nature-based activities. NO CLASS ON 11/28 OR DURING WINTER BREAK.
