About This Activity
Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
Prerequisite: Must have passed Hockey 4.
We are offering skating clinics to keep skaters on the ice in a safe, instructed way.
This 45-minute clinic gets skaters back on the ice to work exclusively on skating skills and hockey skills in the Hockey advanced levels. Skaters will work on basic skating skills for hockey as well as stickhandling, passing, and shooting. Skater will need a caged helmet, hockey gloves, shin guards, elbow pads, shoulder pads, hockey pants and a stick (Full gear). Skate rental is included in the fee.
As the state of this public health emergency changes from day to day, we will remain focused on keeping our employees and our customers safe, healthy, and informed.
You should do a COVID-19 self-assessment before arriving at the arena. This includes checking if you a high fever (above 100.4) and if you have a new cough, new shortness of breath, new chills, a new sore throat or muscle aches that cannot be attributed to another health condition. PLEASE STAY HOME if you have any symptoms.
Skaters will check in at front lobby table upon arriving at the rink. Skaters should arrive dressed to skate and preferably with skates on. All people entering the facility must wear a mask. There are no locker rooms available.
Please maintain social distancing of six feet apart off and on the ice. There are markings on the rink barrier to assist with distancing on the ice surface.
Skaters may enter the main lobby 10 minutes before the start of their session time. One parent may accompany the skater to assist with skates before the session. One parent may watch from a designated location in the rink or wait outside during the clinic. Skaters should wash hands or use hand sanitizer before getting on the ice. We have hand sanitizer stations at the arena entrance, and at the front desk. Skaters must leave the building five minutes after the completion of their session.
Skaters may take only a labeled water bottle on the ice.
Skaters may only be on the ice surface; no entrance into penalty or player’s boxes.
We will be disinfecting surfaces throughout the day in the facility.
