St. Helena Parks & Recreation is now welcoming registrations for the 2022 Under 6 Youth Basketball Program in partnership with Jr Warriors! An excellent opportunity for all boys and girls to develop basic skills, learn about teamwork & fair play, and have fun in a positive, cooperative sports environment! Our season will tentatively run mid January - end of March with Monday practices and Wednesday games. Pick up a Registration form at the Recreation Department office, 1574 Railroad Ave. (corner of Railroad & Fulton). Questions? Call 968-9222. Deadline to Register: Monday, Nov. 22nd @ 5:00 pm.
U6 Co-Ed Division - Register with St. Helena Parks & Recreation. Fee: $60.00 (includes jersey & medal)
Interested in volunteering to be a coach or assistant coach?
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteer coaches who are interested in teaching youth sports. Our program goal is to create a positive environment that promotes self-confidence and self-esteem through the experiences we provide. The program is dedicated to providing all youth with the highest quality recreation and educational experiences for boys and girls ages 4 to 6 years-old. Parents who volunteer to coach their child's team will have their child's participation fee waived.
It is also a great opportunity to gain volunteer experience working with children, improve communication and people skills for high school (16 years of age and older) and college students looking to earn service learning or community services hours.
