When the class is deemed ready, students in Level 4 begin their pre-pointe training with attention to proper foot alignment and strength-building exercises. CULTURE AND COMMUNITY CLASSES Interview Night - Select Mondays 5:30-6:30 Open to MB Levels 3-9 - Families and Community Join us for a casual “Fireside Chat” interview and Q & A with special guests from the local to the international arts community. Beg/Int Broadway Dance with Casey Thorne MB Levels 3-6 and open to grades 4-7, Wednesday 5:45-6:45pm Students will learn about and discuss the history of selected Broadway shows, and work on excerpts of the original and adapted choreographies. Ballet Buddies Connect - with Corinne Jonas, MB Levels 3-9 - Registered students only This class is designed as an opportunity for mentorship and connection throughout the levels. DRESS CODE Level 4 Girls: Motionwear #2518 princess seamed camisole leotard in Royal Blue (color #483). Tights: Body Wrappers C81 or A81 Ballet Pink (BAT) seamless tights for performances. They may wear any full-length pink tights for class. Shoes: Capezio Juliet or Capezio Cobra light pink leather ballet slippers for performances. Leather ballet slippers are also recommended for class. Hair: Hair in neat ballet bun. No jewelry allowed. Boys: black tights, white t-shirt (tucked-in), a Capezio Mens Quilted Dance Belt #N5930, a scout belt, white ballet shoes, white socks. ATTENDANCE If a student needs to miss a class, parents must email the teacher prior to the start of class with a brief description as to why the student will be absent. Students are encouraged to take make-up classes when they have been absent. Make-up classes are available for Primary Division students at the same level or one level lower. Make-up classes must be taken within the same quarter.
