There is a gradation of increased vocabulary both in technique & pointe classes. The growth that comes through performance preparation is a large contributing factor to the training at these levels. Interview Night - Open to MB Levels 3-9 Families and Community - Select MONDAYS - 5:30-6:30pm Join us for a casual “Fireside Chat” interview and Q & A with special guests from the local to the international arts community. Adv. Broadway Dance and Jazz Technique with Casey Thorne - MB Levels 7-9, Adults Open Division - FRIDAY 7:00-8:00pm Students will learn about and discuss the history of selected Broadway shows, and work on excerpts of the original and adapted choreographies. DRESS CODE Girls: Tights: Levels 8 and 9 may wear any full-length pink tights for class. Shoes: Levels 8 and 9 need to wear Capezio Juliet light pink leather ballet slippers for performances. Levels 8 must wear a solid black leotard Capezio Womens Princess tank leotard CC202 in black. Boys: Black tights, white t-shirt (tucked-in) or leotard, a Capezio Mens Quilted Dance Belt ##N5930, a scout belt, white ballet shoes, white socks. ATTENDANCE If a student needs to miss a class, parents must email the teacher prior to the start of class with a brief description as to why the student will be absent. Students are encouraged to take make-up classes when they have been absent. Students should consult their teacher for appropriate make-up classes. Make-up classes must be taken within the same quarter as the absence.
