This NEW evening version of our guided hike last approximately 2.5 hours and is provided by "conductors" who lead groups along Woodlawn Manor Cultural Park's wooded, natural surface trail. Hikers learn about various techniques that "freedom seekers" used to elude trackers, find food, and navigate their way North to freedom. This new guided hike takes place in the evening hours, to demonstrate how the lack of daylight impacted the journey of "freedom seekers".
Participants should bring a flashlight and wear light colored or reflective clothing.
