Description
In this fun class, young dancers explore ballet basics through playful activities, games, and storytelling. Designed for ages 3.5-5, it helps build coordination, balance, and musicality in a nurturing environment that encourages self-expression and confidence-perfect for beginners starting their dance journey!
A $5 materials fee and $15 Dance Prop Kit fee due to the instructor on the first day.
Attire: Students are encourages to wear dance attire such as leotards, tights, and dance skirts. Clothing should be snug yet comfortable, avoiding overly tight or loose fits. Ballet shoes are mandatory. Hair should be neatly styled in a bun or secured away from the face.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, November 1 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, November 8 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
