Description
Think you've got what it takes to be an Egghead Machine Engineer?! Using LEGO™, students will design and build real mega machines like spinning windmills, lifting cranes, elevators, cars, and way more. All week we'll be using wheels, bands, gears, pulleys, and tons of other cool specialty Lego pieces to build our Machines, and then after the building phase is complete we will put them to the test. That means we'll try to break 'em, blow them over, and put weight on them. If you pass the test, you pass the challenge! By the end of the week, campers will become real LEGO Engineering Masters!
$80 material fee payable to Professor Egghead on or before the first day of camp. Please bring a healthy lunch, snack and drink.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, January 26 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, February 2 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to community.classes@santamonica.gov. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
