Description
Demonstration and practice of painting techniques will encourage students to express their creativity and individuality. Elements of art like line, color, composition will be covered. We will have a weekly group critique of work. This is a safe, encouraging environment where all levels are welcome.
Dress for a mess. $30 materials fee due to instructor on first day of class.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, November 2 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, November 9 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES will be made up at the end of the session. Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
